  • Three Levels Of NDI technicians: Each based upon experience, training, and certification
  • Level I: First certifiable position. Capable of only performing certain tests and calibrations based upon Level III technician certifier
  • Level II: Capable of also performing tests, calibrations and evaluation of results. Additionally directs Level I and trainee technicians
  • Level III: Can perform all tests and data interpretations and evaluations Additionally, level III technicians have authority to designate various testing procedures and to train, test and certify Level I & II technicians
  • We conduct Theatre wide jobs, 2ID, to include work in Japan
  • Typical work include: Each Aircraft maint Phase, average 80 different component checks through NDI
  • Countless SOF that require inspections, such as recent AH-64 tail rotor inspections for cracks and pending inspections of UH-60 transmission
